America’s Dream HomeWorks is a family-owned design-build home remodeling company that has been remodeling kitchens since 2001, and we serve Dublin homeowners with one in-house team handling design, permits, DreamLine Custom Cabinetry, stone fabrication, countertops, and installation. More than 19,000 homeowners have trusted us, we hold CSLB License #853669, and every remodel carries a 24-month labor warranty.
We’re honest up front: we are not Dublin-based. Our office and showroom sit in North Highlands, roughly 99 driving miles away, and Dublin is an actively served part of our Northern California territory. You get a single contract and one accountable team, from the first measurement through your final city inspection.

Our Kitchen and Bathroom Remodeling Services for Dublin Homes

Everything your Dublin home remodel project needs comes from one contract and one in-house team, so you’re never coordinating a designer, a cabinet supplier, a stone shop, and three installation crews. See our full kitchen remodeling services for the complete picture.
Full Kitchen Remodels, Demo Through Final Walkthrough
We take the kitchen apart and put it back together better: cabinets, countertops, flooring, lighting, plumbing and electrical rough-in, backsplash, and finish installation. One construction schedule holds all of it, and one project manager answers for all of it. You’ll never be the person calling four trades to find out why nobody showed up Tuesday. We build functional spaces around your daily life, not showpieces you’re afraid to cook in.
DreamLine Custom Cabinets, Made in America
Our own cabinetry line is built to the exact dimensions of your space, which is how you gain more storage without enlarging the kitchen. That matters in a tight 1960s ranch where every inch counts, and in a newer east-side home where builder-grade cabinet boxes waste space behind blind corners. You choose the door style, the finish, and the interior hardware, and our crew installs the new cabinets to the walls you actually have. Custom cabinets carry a limited lifetime warranty, because we build them.
Cabinet Refacing When the Layout Already Works
If your footprint is fine and only the finishes feel dated, refacing is a cost effective way to save money, running about half the cost of a full remodel. Dublin Ranch mixes single-family homes, townhomes, and condominiums built mostly through the 2000s and 2010s, and plenty of those kitchens are perfectly functional, they just came with someone else’s style. New doors, new drawer fronts, and the same quality hardware you’d get in a full renovation.
Countertop Replacement and In-House Stone Fabrication
Quartz countertops, Dekton, Cambria, Silestone, granite, and natural stone are cut on our own CNC equipment with expert precision rather than jobbed out to a third party. Granite stays popular for durability, and engineered quartz gives you marble-look colorways with less maintenance. Cutting the material ourselves means the seams, the overhangs, and the sink cutout are our responsibility alone, whether the job is a full kitchen or a straight countertop replacement.
Kitchen Layout Changes, Islands, and Wall Removal
Opening the wall between an older Dublin kitchen and the living room is a plan-review project, not a weekend change. Structural changes to a wall require a complete plan review in Dublin, and even a non-structural reconfiguration requires minimum 11-by-17-inch existing and proposed floor plans plus a detailed written scope. We draw it, submit it, and build it.
Flooring, Pantry, and Storage Systems
Hardwood, laminate, luxury vinyl plank, and tile from lines like RIVA Spain and Cortona Maxx, plus pantry, mudroom, and home office storage, all finished within the same scope. The kitchen should flow into the rooms around it, not stop at a threshold strip where one contractor quit and another started.
One Bathroom Remodeling Company for Showers, Tubs, and Full Renovations
Many clients add a bathroom remodel to the same contract while crews and drawings are already in motion. We handle shower enclosures, wall surrounds, tub replacement, walk-in tub and walk-in shower conversions, vanities, cabinets, and tile, and our one-day bathroom remodel option applies to specific tub and shower scopes rather than a full bathroom renovation. A master bathroom with a cramped shower and an outdated bathroom down the hall are two different projects built around different daily routines, and we price them that way. Running your kitchen renovation and bathroom through one contract beats explaining your house to a stranger six months later.
Home Remodeling Beyond the Kitchen: Additions and Exteriors
Some projects start as a kitchen and grow. We also build room additions and ADUs and install James Hardie fiber cement siding, replacement windows, and doors, so a whole home renovation stays under one roof instead of becoming four hiring decisions.
Why Dublin Homeowners Choose America’s Dream HomeWorks

Our advantage in Dublin isn’t a nearby storefront, it’s an integrated design-build system that removes the gaps where remodeling projects usually fail. The horror story always starts the same way: a company promises to handle everything, then hands the work to unrelated crews who don’t answer to each other. We don’t work that way. Design, cabinetry manufacturing, stone fabrication, and installation happen under one roof and one contract.
The Best Contractor Is the One Who Owns Every Phase
On quality, here’s the evidence rather than the adjectives. Family-owned since 2001. More than 19,000 happy customers. CSLB License #853669, covering the general building and specialty classifications this work requires, because remodeling involving plumbing, electrical, and structural repair legally calls for a licensed contractor. EPA Lead-Safe Certified, which matters in a city where roughly 21.7% of the housing stock predates 1980. A+ BBB Accredited. Best of Houzz for Service and Client Satisfaction in 2015, 2016, and 2017, plus Angie’s List Super Service Award in 2014, 2015, and 2016.
Quality craftsmanship is the part you live with every day: drawer fronts that line up, countertops that meet the wall cleanly, cabinets that still close correctly in year five. Customer satisfaction comes from that finish work being top notch and from high quality materials installed by our own highly skilled crew, which is why we build our cabinetry instead of ordering it and hoping. Premier work at a good price isn’t a trade-off we accept.
Two separate protections apply after we leave. Every remodel carries a 24-month labor warranty on our workmanship. DreamLine Custom Cabinetry carries a separate limited lifetime warranty as a product. We keep them distinct so you know exactly what covers what.
One detail most pages skip: a contractor applying for a Dublin kitchen permit must hold a current City of Dublin business license. We handle that before we apply, so your remodeling project isn’t waiting on paperwork.

How Your Dublin Kitchen Remodel Works, Step by Step
Five steps, one contract, one accountable team, and clear communication at every handoff.
1. Free Consultation and Measurement
We measure and check the conditions behind the obvious: electrical capacity, plumbing runs, prior modifications. We ask how you cook and gather, because your unique needs drive the plan, and you’re welcome to ask for photos of previous work in similar homes. You receive a written scope separating included work, allowances, exclusions, and the change-order process.
2. Design and Material Selection
Our creative designers develop detailed plans for your approval before anything is ordered, with expert advice on everything from traditional door profiles to modern designs. Use our Kitchen Visualizer Tool, compare samples side by side, or visit our 20,000-square-foot showroom in North Highlands, the largest showroom of its kind in the region. It isn’t in Dublin, so for clients who’d rather skip the drive we bring materials to you and work selections remotely.
3. Drawings, Permit Submittal, and City Review
We prepare the drawings, submit through Dublin’s Citizen Self-Service portal, respond to corrections, and schedule inspections. Permits are secured before construction begins, every time.
4. Fabrication and Scheduled Installation
Cabinetry is built in our own shop and stone is cut on our own equipment by a skilled team, so production timing is ours to control. If we uncover hidden damage, unsafe wiring, or a plumbing problem inside a wall, we document and price it before any extra work proceeds.
5. Final Inspection, Walkthrough, and Warranty
We close the permit with the city, walk the finished space with you, and hand over your 24-month labor warranty along with the DreamLine limited lifetime warranty on your cabinets.
What’s Different About Remodeling a Kitchen in Dublin
Dublin splits cleanly into pre-1980 ranch tracts and post-2000 planned communities, and your permit path depends almost entirely on whether you touch the layout.

Two Very Different Kinds of Dublin Kitchens
On the west side, a 234-home portion of the original San Ramon Village development opened in 1961, bounded by I-680, Amador Valley Boulevard, Village Parkway, and Tamarack Drive. Silvergate, Ecco Park, and Redwing Valley followed during the 1961 to 1966 expansion. Those kitchens are usually about storage and sightlines: closed off, not enough counter, nowhere to put anything.
The east side is a different conversation. Dublin Ranch, Jordan Ranch east of Fallon Road, Wallis Ranch near Tassajara Creek, and Schaefer Ranch north of I-580 are newer and larger. The problem there is rarely square footage. It’s standardized cabinets, weak pantry storage, and a kitchen island that doesn’t match how the family actually uses it.
Dublin Permits, Fees, and Review Times
There are three scope tiers. Replacing appliances and finishes without reconfiguring the layout may be handled over the counter with no project plans. Reconfiguring the layout requires 11-by-17-inch existing and proposed floor plans with a written scope. Removing or altering a structural wall requires a complete plan review.
Effective July 1, 2026, Dublin’s flat permit fee for one kitchen remodel without structural modifications is $880, and that is a city cost, not a remodeling price. Review targets run three business days for over-the-counter status notification, six business days per review for interior nonstructural alterations, and ten for the first review when structural repairs are involved.
Climate, Terrain, and Code Conditions We Build For
Dublin’s residential permit guidance identifies the city as Climate Zone 12 and Seismic Design Category D2, which shapes how connections, framing repairs, and energy details get specified. That’s background for a cabinet-and-countertop job and a real design factor once the scope grows into new openings or an addition.
Serving Northern California, Including Dublin, From North Highlands
Site visits, supervision, inspections, and warranty calls are scheduled into the project plan rather than squeezed in. Dublin has stone, tile, plumbing, and flooring vendors clustered around Sierra Court, Scarlett Court, and Dublin Boulevard, and our in-house cabinet shop and stone fabrication mean you don’t have to shop six of them yourself. Serving Northern California since 2001 makes the wider Bay Area routine territory for us.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a permit, and how long does Dublin review take?
Yes, you need one. Replacing appliances and finishes without changing the layout may be handled over the counter without project plans, while layout changes require floor plans and a written scope. The flat fee for one nonstructural kitchen remodel is $880 effective July 1, 2026, through the City of Dublin Building and Safety Division at 100 Civic Plaza. Over-the-counter applicants get a status notification within three business days, and interior nonstructural alterations are allocated six business days per review.
What is a realistic budget for a kitchen remodel?
It depends on cabinets, countertops, appliances, flooring, and whether the layout changes, so we price your kitchen rather than quote an average. Cabinetry is usually the largest line item, which is why refacing is worth considering when the layout already works. Your free consultation produces a written, project-specific scope, and we can walk you through flexible financing at the same visit.
Can you remodel my kitchen and bathroom at the same time?
Yes, and it’s usually the smarter sequence. One set of drawings, one permit strategy, and one crew moving from the kitchen into the bathroom keeps the disruption in a single window instead of two.
What warranty comes with my kitchen remodel and custom cabinets?
Two separate protections. A 24-month labor warranty covers our workmanship on the remodel, and a limited lifetime warranty covers DreamLine Custom Cabinetry as a product. We also carry CSLB License #853669, EPA Lead-Safe certification, and A+ BBB accreditation.
Do you serve my part of Dublin?
Yes, from San Ramon Village and Silvergate on the west side to Dublin Ranch, Jordan Ranch, and Wallis Ranch on the east. A free consultation is the easiest way to confirm timing for your address.
