Completed in May, this project focused on blending functionality with timeless style, resulting in a serene and thoughtfully designed space ideal for daily living.
A Bold New Layout with Smart Modifications
One of the most striking aspects of this remodel was the structural change in layout. By removing the winged wall between the tub and the existing shower and converting it into a sleek pony wall, the bathroom gained a sense of openness without sacrificing privacy. The updated structure allowed for better spatial flow and a more cohesive look throughout.
The original shower was fully demolished to the studs and replaced with a custom tile shower base built from the ground up. Finished with a beautiful herringbone pattern in Halo Grey from Arizona Tile’s S-Series, the base adds a sense of craftsmanship and texture to the room. Matching herringbone tile on the floor ensures continuity and adds subtle visual interest.
Elegant Tilework and Elevated Details
Throughout the bathroom, the team used Prestigio Calcatta Lucido 24” x 48” tiles from Elysium to finish the shower walls, bench, and tub wainscoting. These large-format tiles mimic the luxurious look of marble with high gloss and refined veining, elevating the space into a spa-like retreat. The crisp white with soft grey veining pairs beautifully with the cabinetry and countertop.

Finishing touches like the undermount Kohler Caxton K-20000-0 sink and Moen Align T6193BG faucet in a luxe brushed gold finish contribute to a clean, modern look that’s both functional and fashionable.

Two LED can lights now provide bright general illumination, while three wall-mounted Moen Iso sconce lights offer task lighting with designer flair.
